
Granola Bars

1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup pitted dates (soaked in warm water for 10 minutes and rinsed)
1 cup raw almonds
1/4 cup raw honey
1/4 cup almond butter (creamy)
Pinch of sea salt
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
1-Roast your oats and almonds in 350°F oven for 10-12 minutes in seperate baking trays until lightly browned.
2-Place your soaked dates in your Vitamix or food processor and blend until it forms a dough like mixture.
3-Chop the roasted almond roughly.
4-Place your dates, roasted almonds and oats in a bowl. Add a pinch of sea salt.
5-In a small saucepan, heat honey and almond butter over medium heat.
6-Add this to the oat mixture and mix until all combined throughly.
7-Pour the mixture onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and lightly press evenly into the pan.
8-Place in the fridge for about an hour to set.
9-Remove from the fridge and cut into bars.
10-Enjoy!
