1 box (13.4 oz) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained, rinsed and dried

(For chickpeas I like the Whole Foods 365 Everyday Value® brand in aseptic cartons to avoid BPA concerns.They are organic, no salt added and Non-GMO Project verified)

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

sea salt

powdered garlic

cayenne pepper (optional)

 

1-Preheat oven to 400°F.

2-In a bowl, toss chickpeas with olive oil, sea salt, garlic and cayenne pepper according to your taste.

3-Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet and bake about 30 minutes until browned and crunchy.

4-Enjoy!
